How to add text to image
- Add your imagesThe same text and placement goes onto every file in the batch.
- Type what you want it to sayPress Enter for a second line. Two short lines usually read better than one long one.
- Drag the text where you want itThe preview is live — click or drag anywhere on the image and the text follows. Position is stored as a fraction of the image, so it lands in the same spot on every file however big each one is.
- Set the font, size and angleFive fonts, from a clean sans to a heavy poster face. The angle slider tilts the whole block, which is how you get a diagonal stamp across a photo.
- Apply and downloadEvery image is processed with the settings you can see in the preview.
When you need it
Making a meme or a caption image
Bottom-placed text with an outline is the format everyone already recognises.
Labelling product or listing photos
A price or a short label on the image survives being reposted.
Turning a quote into something shareable
Centred text over a photo is the standard quote card.
Questions
My text disappears over light parts of the photo. What do I do?
Leave the outline switched on. It draws a dark edge behind every letter, which keeps white text readable over a bright sky or a pale wall. Without it, white on white simply vanishes.
Can I use several lines?
Yes — press Enter in the text box and each line is drawn beneath the last, centred on wherever you dragged the block. Alignment can be set to left, centre or right.
How do I put the text somewhere specific?
Click or drag anywhere on the preview and the text moves there straight away. What you see is what gets rendered, at full resolution, when you press Apply.
Which font should I pick?
Bold sans is the everyday choice and stays readable at any size. Heavy poster is the dense face used on meme captions. Elegant serif suits quotes, handwritten works for something personal, and monospace reads as technical. Only the font you choose is downloaded, so picking one costs nothing on the rest of the site.
What is the angle slider for?
It tilts the whole text block up to 45 degrees either way. A slight tilt is how a stamp or a label looks applied rather than typed on, and a diagonal caption across a photo is much harder to crop off than a straight one.
What size should the text be?
Around 8% of the image works for a caption. Go to 12–15% for something meant to be read as a headline. Since the value is a percentage rather than pixels, it looks the same whatever resolution you started with.

How it works
Every tool here runs on the HTML Canvas API inside your own browser. When you drop a file, it is read straight into memory, changed there, and handed back as a download. Not one byte goes over the network — which is why there is no upload wait, no file size cap, and no way for anyone, including us, to see your images.
That also means the tools keep working with no connection once the page has loaded, and the only limit on file size is your device's memory.
