How to passport & id photo

Questions
Will my photo definitely be accepted?
This tool gets the dimensions and the head position right, which is what most rejections come down to. It cannot judge the rest: background colour, lighting, expression, glasses, head covering rules and how recent the photo must be all vary by country and by document. Check the official requirements for what you are applying for before you submit.
What size do I need?
It depends on the country. 35×45 mm covers the UK, the EU and most of the world. The United States uses 2×2 inches. India and several others use 51×51 mm. Pick the country from the list and the measurements are set for you.
Why does the head position matter?
Almost every standard specifies how much of the frame the head should fill — typically between 70 and 80 percent of the height from chin to crown. A photo at the right size with the face too small or too large still gets rejected, which is why the guides are there.
What is the print sheet for?
It arranges several copies on a standard photo size so one print gives you a set. Take the file to any print shop, or print it at home on photo paper and cut them out.
Is my photo uploaded anywhere?
No. It is cropped in your browser and never transmitted. That matters here more than on most tools — a passport photo is an identity document.

How it works
Every tool here runs on the HTML Canvas API inside your own browser. When you drop a file, it is read straight into memory, changed there, and handed back as a download. Not one byte goes over the network — which is why there is no upload wait, no file size cap, and no way for anyone, including us, to see your images.
That also means the tools keep working with no connection once the page has loaded, and the only limit on file size is your device's memory.
