What is EXIF?
A block of information the camera writes alongside the picture: make and model, the date and time to the second, exposure settings, and on nearly every phone the GPS coordinates of where the shutter was pressed, usually accurate to a few metres.
Why does my photo show nothing?
Either it never had metadata, or something already removed it. Social networks strip it when you upload, and any editor that re-saves the file usually drops it too. Screenshots have none to begin with.
Is the GPS really that accurate?
Often yes. Phone photos regularly carry coordinates precise enough to identify a specific building, which is why a holiday photo posted from home can quietly give away an address.
Does viewing it change my file?
No. The file is read and nothing is written. To actually remove metadata, use remove EXIF data.

How it works
Every tool here runs on the HTML Canvas API inside your own browser. When you drop a file, it is read straight into memory, changed there, and handed back as a download. Not one byte goes over the network — which is why there is no upload wait, no file size cap, and no way for anyone, including us, to see your images.
That also means the tools keep working with no connection once the page has loaded, and the only limit on file size is your device's memory.
