Questions
Is a drawn signature legally valid?
That depends entirely on the document and where you are. Many everyday agreements accept an image of a signature; anything formal may require a witnessed signature or a certified electronic one. Check what the document itself requires.
Why does it look worse than my real signature?
Because a mouse is a poor pen. A finger on a phone or tablet gives a much more natural line — draw it there and download from the same device.
Why transparent rather than white?
So it lays over a document without covering the line it sits on. A white background would show as a rectangle over the paper.
Is my signature sent anywhere?
No. It is drawn on a canvas in your browser and saved straight from there. It never leaves your device, which is the way it should be for something that identifies you.

How it works
Every tool here runs on the HTML Canvas API inside your own browser. When you drop a file, it is read straight into memory, changed there, and handed back as a download. Not one byte goes over the network — which is why there is no upload wait, no file size cap, and no way for anyone, including us, to see your images.
That also means the tools keep working with no connection once the page has loaded, and the only limit on file size is your device's memory.
